Actually, the fruit trade is in my DNA. As a young man, my grandfather went through the neighbourhoods of Rotterdam with a horse and cart selling vegetables and fruit. For a while he had a greengrocery, and later a wholesale business where I also wandered around. I think that is where my love for the trade was born.

A year or so ago, I gained my first work experience at another company in the agricultural sector (AGF.) Still, I then took a short excursion into the world of temporary employment as a project manager. But then I knew for sure: just give me fruit! (I am not that keen on vegetables, ha ha.)

The dynamic nature of this trade, personal contact with international customers and delivering great products at a good price: that is my goal! Working at FMI is perfect for me: we work in a small team, everyone has their own customers and no day is the same. There is plenty of room for initiative and development, and I started an Italian course with the idea of maintaining a better relationship with my Italian customers. So I would like to say: arrivederci!
